The distance this project focuses on is the space between traditional pedagogy
and electronic environments. It is designed to introduce
some of the ways that we have used both the Web and virtual environments when we
teach computer-assisted classes. It is also designed to be an interactive
exploration; throughout the project you'll find discussion forums and addlink
opportunities. We'd also like this project to traverse the distance
between
writers and readers by allowing anyone to contribute.
We have tried to make this project speak to pedagogy and technology by framing the discussion with our teaching goals. Share with us some pedagogical aims or discuss the ideas and theoretical thinking that drives them.
You can also access various addlink and discourse sites from our interaction page. The computer-assisted environments that we have used substantially impact both the implementation of our teaching goals and the assessment of their success. Help us examine our teaching in the Mush and our use of the World Wide Web.
